Robert Nicacio, O.D. is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry and has owned the Camas Vision Centre since July of 1992. He received his undergraduate degree from Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington and his Doctorate of Optometry in 1988 from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. He strives to ensure his patients are truly cared for and receive the best possible eye care. He has a special interest in working with patient’s with challenging contact lens fitting needs.
Dr. Nicacio is a member of the American Optometric Association and the American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control. As an active member of the Optometric Physicians of Washington, he has served as a trustee and as president of the SW Society. He is also an active member of his community. As a founding member and past president of the Rotary Club of Camas/Washougal, “Dr. Bob” can be seen in the Washougal River every July during Camas Days, preparing for the annual Ducky Derby. Dr. Nicacio has always emphasized the need for community service in the office setting and at home with his family. He started the Interact Club with his two sons at Camas High School in 2010 and with his daughter at Liberty Middle school in 2016. He currently serves as the liaison between the Rotary club and the students.
He is an active member in his church and he likes to do anything outdoors like fishing, hiking and camping.
