Linda Medeski, O.D. is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry and has owned the Downtown Vision Centre since September of 1995. She attended the University of Colorado, Boulder. She received her Bachelor’s of Visual Science in 1988, and her Doctorate of Optometry in 1990 from the Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. She loves practicing full scope optometry for the entire family with a holistic approach. She greatly enjoys working with children. She has a special interest in dry eyes and vision therapy and its application in brain injured patients as well as developmental cases.

As an active member of the Optometric Physicians of Washington, she has been the ongoing treasurer for the last 13 years and has served as past president.  She is currently the Chair of the Grassroots legislative committee, a member of the Children’s Vision Task Force, and was the past co-chair of the InfantSee committee. She has made several trips to Washington, D.C. as a federal key-person to advocate for doctor-patient relations. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association, Optometric Nutrition Society, College of Vision Development, Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association and the AOA Vision Rehabilitation section. She has lectured to teachers and school nurses about the importance of vision and children’s academic success.

She is active in her church and sits on the parish council. In her spare time, she enjoys jogging, reading and spending time with her family.


Robert Nicacio, O.D.

Robert Nicacio, O.D. is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry and has owned the Camas Vision Centre since July of 1992. He received his undergraduate degree from Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington and his Doctorate of Optometry in 1988 from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. He strives to ensure his patients are truly cared for and receive the best possible eye care. He has a special interest in working with patient’s with  challenging contact lens fitting needs.

Dr. Nicacio is a member of the American Optometric Association and the American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control.  As an active member of the Optometric Physicians of Washington, he has served as past president and currently serves as a trustee.  He is also an active member of his community.  As a founding member and past president of the Rotary Club of Camas/Washougal, “Dr. Bob” can be seen in the Washougal River every July during Camas Days, preparing for the annual Ducky Derby.   Dr. Nicacio has always emphasized the need for community service in the office setting and at home with his family.  He started the Interact Club with his two sons at Camas High School in 2010 and with his daughter at Liberty Middle school in 2016.  He currently serves as the liaison between the Rotary club and the students.

He is an active member in his church and he likes to do anything outdoors like fishing, hiking and camping.
